Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Modelwright website and courses. Please read them carefully before enrolling or using our services.

Section 01

Definitions

  • "Modelwright", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Modelwright, operating from 58 Thanon Convent, Silom, Bangkok 10500, Thailand.
  • "Website" — the website accessible at modelwright.biz and any related subdomains or pages.
  • "User", "you", "your" — any individual who visits the website or enrolls in a course.
  • "Service" — the online AI development courses and related resources offered by Modelwright.
  • "Content" — all text, video, code, exercises, and materials available through our courses.
  • "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Section 02

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using the website or enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Thai law.

Section 03

Service Description

Modelwright provides online courses in AI development, delivered in English. Our current offerings are:

  • Build Your First Program (฿3,500) — a hands-on starter course for beginners
  • Build an AI Tool (฿7,400) — a project-led course building a working AI prototype
  • Full Build Programme (฿11,500) — an end-to-end programme with mentoring and a capstone showcase

Course content, structure, and pricing may be updated from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled learners of any material changes before they take effect.

Section 04

User Accounts

Where a learner account is created, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. You agree to notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access resulting from your failure to keep credentials secure.

We may suspend or close an account if there is reason to believe the terms have been violated or if the account has been inactive for more than 24 months.

Section 05

User Responsibilities

When using our website and courses, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes and in a respectful manner
  • Not share, redistribute, or reproduce course materials without written permission
  • Not attempt to access any part of the service you are not enrolled in
  • Not submit false or misleading information through our contact or enrollment forms
  • Not use our platforms to harass, intimidate, or harm other learners or staff
  • Respect the intellectual efforts of instructors and fellow learners

We reserve the right to remove any user from a course or the website if these responsibilities are not upheld, without issuing a refund where the breach is willful or serious.

Section 06

Intellectual Property

All course content, lesson materials, code examples, design assets, and website copy are owned by Modelwright or licensed to us, and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Upon enrollment, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use course materials for your own learning. This license does not permit you to copy, sell, share, or sublicense any content.

Where you produce original work as part of a course project, you retain ownership of that work. By sharing project work within course forums or showcase events, you grant Modelwright a non-exclusive right to reference or display it for educational and promotional purposes.

Section 07

Payment Terms & Refunds

Pricing and payment

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment. We accept bank transfer and major card payments as detailed during checkout.

Refund policy

  • A full refund may be requested within 7 days of enrollment, provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the course materials
  • After 7 days or after accessing more than 20% of a course, refunds are not available except where required by Thai consumer protection law
  • If Modelwright cancels or significantly changes a course after payment, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a comparable course

Section 08

Course Enrollment & Completion

  • Enrollment is confirmed once payment is received and you have been contacted by our team
  • Course access is available for the duration stated at enrollment; we do not offer open-ended or indefinite access
  • A course completion record is issued for the Full Build Programme upon successfully submitting all required projects; it is a record of participation and completion, not an academic qualification
  • We expect learners to maintain academic integrity; submitting work that is not your own is grounds for removal without refund
  • Mentor sessions must be booked within the schedule windows provided; unused sessions do not carry over

Section 09

Disclaimers

Our courses are provided in good faith and with care, but they are offered on an "as available" basis. We do not make representations about specific learning outcomes, career results, or technical proficiency levels you will reach.

Course content reflects the state of the technology at the time it was created. The field of AI moves quickly and some material may become dated; we make reasonable efforts to keep courses current.

Nothing in our courses constitutes professional, legal, financial, or technical advice for your specific situation.

Section 10

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Modelwright's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the course in question.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of income, data, or business opportunities, even if we were informed that such losses were possible.

Nothing in this section limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

Section 11

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Modelwright and its team members from any claims, costs, or damages arising from your breach of this Agreement or your misuse of our services or content.

Section 12

Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. Where refund conditions are met (see Section 07), you may request a refund.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud, or if we discontinue a course. Where termination is not due to your breach, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of a paid course.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution will survive the termination of this Agreement.

Section 13

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected]. We will try to respond within 14 working days.

If informal resolution is not possible, any dispute will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangkok, Thailand, unless Thai consumer protection law provides you with a different entitlement.

Section 14

General Provisions

  • Entire agreement: this Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitutes the full agreement between you and Modelwright
  • Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect
  • Waiver: failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver of that right
  • Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under this Agreement without our prior written consent
  • Notices: formal notices to Modelwright should be sent to [email protected] or our registered address

Section 15

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled learners by email. Continuing to use our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
